About us

Read less. Learn more.

Books in Short - Kenya makes short animated videos, each one to three minutes long, that turn the core ideas of great books into something a busy person can watch in a moment.

Many of us love the idea of reading more, yet the days fill up quickly. Work, study, family and travel leave little time to sit with a long book. Our videos are a calm way to keep learning in the time you already have: on a commute, during a tea break or before bed.

Who we make videos for

Our viewers are spread across Kenya. They include young professionals and students, parents and seniors, couples, gift buyers, offices, schools, resellers and committed book lovers who want a quick way to revisit ideas.

What you will find here

We group our videos by theme so you can find a title quickly:

• Business and money
• Habits and productivity
• Mind and wellbeing
• Relationships and family
• Leadership and careers
• Bundles and gifts

You can buy a single video, choose a bundle or send a gift card to someone who never seems to have time to read.

Simple to buy

Pay with M-Pesa at checkout. If you have a question about a title, a gift or an order for your team, message us on WhatsApp and we will help.
